Magick is only a focusing of the energy. A follower of the ways of Magick uses spells, rituals and ceremonies for one thing only : To harness the energy and power of the Mind, to act as a mental “magnifying glass” 
or “conduit” to direct those energies around and within us and send them using the power of WILL to an end destination. If a follower uses those energies for harm or for personal gain, that is considered as “black magick”. If one uses the energy for healing and growth, that is considered as “white magick” and if one uses it for both of the above, it is considered as “gray magick”. Magick is nothing more or less than that: Focused Energy.
