Global Country of World Peace, an organization established on October 7, 2000 by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, founder of the Transcendental Meditation (TM) program, is dedicated to what he calls preventive, invincible administration for the whole world. Through his programs, he said that he intended to create world peace by strengthening and unifying the world’s diversity in happiness, prosperity, and invincibility. Maharishi claimed that by implementing the programs of the Global Country of World Peace, war, disease and poverty can be eliminated.
Maharishi Towers of Invincibility in 48 countries will honor Maharishi’s achievements
As a monument to Maharishi’s achievement of the foundation of permanent world peace, the leaders of his global movement resolved to build in 48 of the largest countries a grand, marble-clad 12-storey ‘‘Maharishi Tower of Invincibility.’’ Each Tower showcases the totality of Maharishi’s knowledge and will include a school or university where students will practise Yogic Flying together in groups to create coherence and invincibility for the nation. Future plans call for the Maharishi Towers of Invincibility to be built in all 192 countries of the world.
The future is bright – and that is my delight
In his farewell message on January 11, 2008 Maharishi announced the establishment of the Brahmananda Saraswati Trust, named in honour of his teacher, Guru Dev, to support large groups totaling more than 30,000 peace-creating Vedic Pandits in perpetuity across India.
‘‘The Brahmananda Saraswati Trust will ensure the glorification of life on earth on a permanent basis, for the individual and the nation. For all millennia to come, the world is going to be a peaceful, happy world. The future is bright – and that is my delight,’’ Maharishi said.
Maharishi said further about himself about his method: Maharishi’s Science of Creative Intelligence, which connects modern science with ancient Vedic science, is the foundation of all knowledge — complete knowledge — and therefore is the basis of complete fulfillment. Introducing the Science of Creative Intelligence and the Maharishi Technology of the Unified Field into education is the one way for all mankind to stop violation of Natural Law and end the long tradition of problems and suffering in life individually and globally.
This is certainly already one of the organizations which will peu a peu replace the old rotten and corrupt structures, that are now in power. Meditation is a basic tool to become enlightened and it should be taught already in kindergarten – or even better: Parents should practice it with their children.
There is however one danger… The Global Land has a “Regent” and regents have all a common feature: They know “better” for everybody. I hope they will not fall into this trap because “knowing better” is judgemental and therefore the basis of all wars and other difficulties!
